The $8.80 service access fee provides access to the test instructions and process. After purchase, you may choose to complete optional small payment tests. Each payment test amount is 66 RMB.
If you complete multiple test scenarios, the total test payment amount will increase accordingly. Test payments are service/testing fees. They are not refundable deposits.
How to understand your result
Ready
Your small payment test was successful. Your basic payment readiness for everyday travel in China is stronger, but backup cash and another payment method are still recommended.
Partially Ready
Some test scenarios worked, while others failed. You should not rely on only one payment method in China. Prepare another payment app, another card, or backup cash before departure.
High Risk
The test failed or your setup appears incomplete. You should fix the issue before departure and prepare backup cash, another card, or a fuller arrival setup review.

- Large payments, hotel payments, taxi payments, transfers, deposits, or merchant-specific payments working
- Banks, card issuers, Alipay, WeChat Pay, merchants, risk-control systems, identity checks, network conditions, app rules, or policy changes accepting or approving a transaction
- Your app account, card, device, network, or merchant environment behaving the same after arrival in China
Refund policy
Because this is a digital service and payment testing process, the $8.80 service access fee is non-refundable once the service instructions have been delivered.
Any completed test payments are also non-refundable. They are service/testing fees, not refundable deposits.
